Born to Colombian parents and based in Montreal, Canada, Winona J. Fox is an award winning burlesque performer who has been gracing the stage since 2021.
Self-titled "The Reigning Queen of Mean", Winona describes her performance style as "70s Does 50s", combining her love of classic 50s Hollywood aesthetics with 70s Disco dance styles. She strives to combine the allure of mid-century icons such as Marylin Monroe and Rita Moreno with 80s bombshells like Madonna and Iris Chacon, and embodies their sensual and striking nature through her performances.
She was and continues to be inspired by staple 70s experiences including Studio 54, Latin American Salsa and British Punk Rock.
Winona was crowned First Runner Up at the 2024 Montreal Burlesque Festival- she wears her tiara with hometown pride!
